The CFFA is pleased to share the following wishes from Gordon Phaneuf, CEO of the CWLC:
The Child Welfare League of Canada (CWLC) would like to take this opportunity to celebrate National Foster Family week. Foster families across Canada provide a much needed service that underpins child welfare supports to vulnerable children and youth. A week dedicated to the appreciation of the contributions of foster families is a welcome and fitting celebration.
Foster parents are among the most dedicated citizens committed to the well being of children and youth, their dedication and tireless efforts should be acknowledged by all Canadians.
Sincerely,
Gordon Phaneuf
CEO
Child Welfare League of Canada
