XVI Bienniel IFCO Conference – “Fostering Hope”

July 10 – 15, 2011 – Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

The Canadian Foster Parent Association is pleased to be a member of the 2011 International Foster Care Organization’s planning committee. The Planning committee has strong committee participation with representation from local, regional, Provincial, National foster, adoptive and parent serving organizations along with both the Provincial and Federal Governments.

The Planning Committee has been meeting and planning for over 2 years now, and as time goes on more committees are being formed to do the work that is needed to prepare for such a large conference.

It is hoped that many of our Foster Parents from across Canada will have the opportunity to attend this International Conference being so “close to home”. Last year when the IFCO conference was held in Dublin, Ireland there were over 600 delegates from more than 37 countries.
